As the areas of application for sublimation printing became more widespread, the use of sublimation paper in the market increased and with it the range of sublimation papers for all kinds of sublimation printers, of higher quality and at lower prices, ranging from 35 to 120 grams. But in the end, they have all been developed specifically for the general textile printing transfer process and there are only 2 types by category Quick Dry Sublimation Paper and Adhesive Sublimation Paper.
Fast dry sublimation paper, a paper that dries quickly after printing, reduces the power used by the printer's heater, thus reducing printing costs, and produces impeccably vivid colours. 90gsm and 100gsm are the most popular and are particularly well suited to these printers: Epson, Mimaki, Roland and Mutoh.
Adhesive Sublimation Paper, as its name implies, has one side of the print surface that is highly adhesive. It is designed to be used on special fabrics to fix the transfer position of the paper to the fabric.
