Sublimation transfer paper is one of the important consumables for sublimation transfer technology. The performance of transfer paper determines the quality of the pattern on the substrate to a large extent.
transfer effect can be judged from the following aspects:
1. Transfer rate
It is the most basic and important performance, mainly reflects the sublimation of the sublimation ink after transfer. transfer rate is high, that is, most of the sublimation ink on the transfer paper is effectively sublimated.
2. Transparent situation
It refers to the phenomenon of ink penetrating through the coating into the base paper. In most cases, the back-through phenomenon is obvious, and the transfer rate of sublimation transfer paper will decrease, resulting in poor transfer effect.
3. Drying speed
It refers to the drying speed of transfer paper after inkjet printing. The fast drying speed not only allows continuous printing to speed up production efficiency, but also reduces print quality problems caused by wet ink.
4. Paper surface smoothness
It directly affects printing production. Transfer paper with poor flatness is prone to friction with the inkjet head during digital inkjet printing, which not only affects the printing quality, but also easily causes damage to the nozzle, shortening the service life of the equipment.
5. Warp angle
It is caused by the inconsistent expansion and contraction ratio between the coating surface and the base paper surface. It will cause inconvenience in paper feeding by the printer, wrinkles in the winding after printing, misalignment of the transfer pattern, etc., affecting the normal production progress. High-quality sublimation transfer paper generally has certain anti-warping properties, which can reduce the adverse impact of warping on production.
